Below are the most common mistakes when requesting an appointment.
We recommend reading the registration rules and the list of mistakes below before submitting your request.
EMPLOYEE CARD
LONG-TERM VISA – SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT
- Not all instructions listed on the embassy website are followed.
- The request is not sent within the designated time to the email AbuDhabi.Employment@mzv.gov.cz.
- The email subject line must contain only the passport number — no additional words such as “re”, “FWD:”, or “passport number:” are allowed.
- Proof of residence in the UAE for more than 2 years is missing.
As evidence, a scan of the Emirates ID or residence permit showing a stay of 2 years prior to the date of the request must be submitted.
For example, if the request is sent on 1 September 2025, documents proving residence from 1 September 2023 must be attached.
Usually, both current and previous permits must be submitted.
LONG-TERM VISAS AND RESIDENCE PERMITS
(EXCEPT EMPLOYEE CARD AND SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT)
- Not all instructions listed on the embassy website are followed.
- The subject line does not include the name, passport number, and purpose of stay.
If the subject contains only something like “appointment request”, the application is automatically rejected.- Required attachments are missing.
- Applications without attached files are automatically rejected.
- Proof of residence in the UAE for more than 2 years is missing.
As evidence, a scan of the Emirates ID or residence permit showing a stay of 2 years prior to the date of the request must be submitted.
For example, if the request is sent on 1 September 2025, documents proving residence from 1 September 2023 must be attached.
