Appointment Request Common Mistakes

Below are the most common mistakes when requesting an appointment.

We recommend reading the registration rules and the list of mistakes below before submitting your request.

EMPLOYEE CARD

LONG-TERM VISA – SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT

  • Not all instructions listed on the embassy website are followed.
  •
  • The request is not sent within the designated time to the email AbuDhabi.Employment@mzv.gov.cz.
  •
  • The email subject line must contain only the passport number — no additional words such as “re”, “FWD:”, or “passport number:” are allowed.
  •
  • Every applicant can send only one request. If multiple e-mails are sent for the same applicant even from different e-mail addresses, the requests will be excluded. We also recommend not sending a large number of e‑mails from a single e‑mail account.
  •
  • Attachments need to be pdf files only. Sending pictures or zip files will lead to exclusion of the request from processing
  •
  • Proof of residence in the UAE for more than 2 years is missing.
As evidence, a scan of the Emirates ID or residence permit showing a stay of 2 years prior to the date of the request must be submitted.
For example, if the request is sent on 1 September 2025, documents proving residence from 1 September 2023 must be attached.
Usually, both current and previous permits must be submitted. Unexplained gaps will lead to exclusion of the request from processing.
  •
  • We recommend sending the request within the beginning of the designated time. The delivery time is the deciding factor not sending time.
  •
  • E-mails with blocked reply option will be excluded from the registration
  •
  • Registration e‑mails that are not sent directly to the designated e‑mail inbox but only copied (CC) will be excluded from the registration process.

  •
  • The subject line does not include the name, passport number, and purpose of stay.

  • If the subject contains only something like “appointment request”, the application is automatically rejected.
  • Required attachments are missing.
  •
  • Applications without attached files are automatically rejected.
  •
  • Proof of residence in the UAE for more than 2 years is missing.
As evidence, a scan of the Emirates ID or residence permit showing a stay of 2 years prior to the date of the request must be submitted.
