Mongolian graduates of Czech and Slovak universities organize the annual celebration of the national holiday of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar. This year, the celebration took place on October 23rd, 2021, in the ballroom of Victoria Center complex.
The event was attended by around 150 participants, who had the opportunity to watch slideshows of photographs from their years as university students, listen to the music performed by Shar Airag band, and last but not least, enjoy excellent food with Czech beer.
The celebration was opened by the chairman of the Mongolian Alumni Association, Davaanyam Biniye, who emphasized the lasting bond that the alumni have carried throughout their lives with the Czech Republic. Davaanyam also expressed appreciation for the friendship extended by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mongolia, and its support for the annual alumni meetings. Czech Ambassador to Mongolia Jiří Brodský along with Honorary Consul of Slovakia to Mongolia Tuvdendorjiin Munkhzul took parts in this ceremony. In the opening remarks, Ambassador Brodský mentioned the significance of the national holiday, praised the annual initiative of Mongolian graduates and their continued interest in what is happening in the Czech Republic, and summarized the most important activities of his four years in Mongolia. The social event was a proof of friendship and lasting memories of the participants of their studies in the Czech Republic. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar values the continuing interest of Mongolian graduates of Czech universities and remains more than willing to cooperate with them in organizing activities promoting the Czech Republic. We wish the alumni community the much deserved success and triumph in their personal endeavours and careers.

This year's meeting was organized by graduates who began university studies in Czechoslovakia in 1971, 1981 and 1991.
