The reception was opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Jiří Brodský together with the Member of Parliament Badarch Jargalmaa (speech) (PDF, 105 KB), a member of the Friends of the Czech Republic group in the State Great Khural. In his speech (PDF, 114 KB), he recalled key moments in the 70-year history of Czech-Mongol relations, mentioned the establishment of an independent Czechoslovakia, the role of President Masaryk, and spoke in more detail about the role of his son Jan, who gained respect and recognition as a diplomat for the newly formed democratic state. A commemorative medal awarded by Czech ambassadors for spreading the good name of the Czech Republic is named after Jan Masaryk, and this year the Ambassador to Mongolia will also be awarded to several important personalities on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of mutual relations.

This time, the Czech and Mongolian anthems were performed by six musicians from the Khusugtun band on traditional Mongolian instruments. Pupils of the Mongolian State Conservatory and the private music school Šikulka also performed with the repertoire, which they prepared for the international piano competition held in April 2021 in Pilsen. On this occasion, an exhibition of photographs mapping the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was launched on the fence of the embassy building.

Refreshments were prepared by the Delicatessen company and guests could also taste the wines of the Moravian wineries St. Barbora and Sedlák, or Czech beer Pilsner Urquell.
