Call for proposals for PROPEA - Czech Business Support project 2025

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic announces a call for service providers for the PROPEA programme for 2025 (Czech Business Support). Through PROPEA, accredited expert entities operating abroad (with the support of the Czech embassy in the country) provide economic diplomacy services to Czech companies operating in the relevant territory or preparing to enter the target foreign market. The deadline for submission of proposals is 28 March 2025.
PROPEA projects are a shift from supporting one-off business operations of Czech companies to strengthening their permanent presence abroad. The aim of the programme is to support Czech companies that do not focus only on exports but rather have an investment character. Furthermore, PROPEA projects aim to reduce the risks associated with Czech firms entering challenging foreign markets and to strengthen the Czech Republic's capacity to support a more permanent presence of firms in foreign markets.
Under PROPEA, accredited expert bodies operating abroad with the support of the embassy in the territory can offer expert pro-export services to Czech companies already operating in the territory or preparing to enter the target foreign market:
- preparation of a business plan for market entry or investment
- preparation of legal, tax, financial and legislative analysis
- product launch (assistance in dealing with financial institutions, support in setting up an account and securing financing, setting up a company, etc.)
- securing licenses, certifications, product and trademark registrations
- ensuring and verifying documentation for import/export and logistics
- creation and coordination of supplier and partner networks
- providing promotional, marketing and PR services
- support for production start-ups/start-ups for service companies
- use of technical facilities

Project proposals are submitted by potential promoters (local entities with legal personality under Mongolian regulations) through the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar using the PROPEA Project Identification Form attached below.
