Consular and Visa information

Our Consulate strives to deliver a high quality consular  services to both Czech and foreign nationals, including evaluation of visa applications, processing residence permit applications, issuing visas, etc.

What do we do for the Czech nationals?

We establish and renew passports, report births, deaths, marriages and divorces which occurred in Japan to the competent authorities in the Czech Republic. We help our citizens in distress or other emergency situations, such as loss of travel documents, hospitalisation, detention or arrest.

What can we do for you?

• Authentication/verification of copies, translations and signatures
• We arrange processing an Apostille for public documents issued in the Czech Republic for their use abroad
• Provide basic information on travel to the Czech Republic
• provide basic information about living in the Czech Republic
• We issue entry visas to foreign citizens and  inform them about immigration-, residence- and work permits.
