Success of the Czech software Company AURA in Japan

NATO Codification System (NCS), which is under the membership of 62 countries around the world, assigns a common materiel numbering system called NSN (NATO Stock Number) by 13 digits for all defense materiel. It is so called the world's largest defense materiel supply chain database that enables to use defense materiel with cost reduced, equipment substituted and manufacturers alternative anytime when necessary. Logistics information system for materiel codification called MC CATALOGUE, developed by the Czech company AURA, is fully compatible with NCS.
While Japan joined NCS in 2011, it could not realize to its materiel system with other countries so far. It is essential that, however, Japan now positively be proceeding not only for the materiel export business influenced but the world peacekeeping and disaster relief activities tighten under its international relationship with other countries. ATLA, Acquisition Technology and Logistics Agency under Ministry of Defense, adopted AURA’s MC CATALOGUE (MCC) software system in April 2018 and is now moving ahead to the full scale integration of NCS into all materiel acquired from national industries nationwide in Japan as the Tier 2 country under NCS established in two years.
AURA s.r.o., established in 1989, a leading software company headquartered in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, has been experiencing with MCC to be installed in multiple governments and agencies around the world as well as their own Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic. Japan is the nineteenth nation of MCC installed and enable to operate NCS in conjunction with other all NATO and the allied countries in the world. AURA in the process of transformation of Japan into TIER 2, it must be the highest level of the integration of a country to the NATO Codification System. The full engagement of Japan in these international structures is a very important step in the current tense safety situation in the region.
DataCraft Inc., AURA's Commercial Representative in Japan as well as a NCS advisor for ATLA, has been proceeding to introduce MCC to MOD/ATLA from 2014 and established the adoption by ATLA who realized their challenge to NCS with MCC. According to the recent MOD Budgetary Request for 2019, it is officially announced that MOD will fund budget for ATLA expenses for NCS system compliance with which ATLA will enable to realize NCS Tier 2 level country. AURA and DataCraft will affirmably join to assist and support ATLA can easily be stepping up to the Tier 2 leveled operation with NSPA, a section in charge of NSC in NATO.
