The new small hydro power plant in Anomatadani, Toyama prefecture employing a Czech turbine is already the 24^th hydro power plant in Japan which uses Czech technology provided by Czech companies MAVEL or CINK and their  Japanes business partner company Japan Small Hydropower. As such, it is an important contribution for further use of renewable energy sources for local communities in Japan.
