Extension of the MoU between Rigaku and CEITEC

On November 14, 2019, an extension of the trilateral Memorandum of Understanding on research cooperation between Rigaku Corporation, CEITEC - the Central European Institute of Technology, and Rigaku Innovative Technologies Europe was signed at the headquarters of Rigaku Corporation in Tokyo.
Rigaku Corporation is one of the world's leading manufacturers of scientific, analytical and industrial instruments specializing in X-ray technology. On the basis of this memorandum, the successful three-party cooperation of Rigaku Corporation with two Czech research teams will continue for another three years. The product of their cooperation are successful applications of X-ray computer micro and nano tomography for industrial use.
The Czech research partners are in particular:
- the team of CEITEC Institute in the city of Brno under the leadership of Prof. Jozef Kaiser, and
- the team of Rigaku Innovative Technologies Europe s.r.o. in Prague, led by Prof. Ladislav Pina.
