On 22 September 2024, the finals of the Grand Sumo Tournament took place in the Tokyo hall of Ryogoku Kokugikan, whose winner became the sumo wrestler Onosato. During the closing ceremony, the winner was awarded by a diploma and a Czech crystal hand-cut cup made by Moser Glassworks by Martin Klučar, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan.
According to a long tradition established in 1970, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Japan presents the winner of the Grand Sumo Tournament with a diploma and a hand-cut cup made of Czech crystal by Moser Glassworks.
