The New Year Grand Sumo Tournament

On January 24, 2021, the final of The New Year Grand Sumo Tournament took place in Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan Hall. The Winner, DAIEISHO Hayato, becomes the first wrestler from Saitama Prefecture to win a title.

The diploma and the traveling hand-cut crystal Cup (Moser) are an inseparable part of the sumo final. Also this time, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan, Mr. Martin Tomčo, passed on these attributes to the winner of the tournament. Congratulations!
