The Ambassador's Cup for Daikin Orchid Ladies Golf Tournament was created at a time when Czechia opened an honorary consulate in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, in 2020 deepening the friendship between Czechia and Japan. This initiative was supported by Mr. Noriyuki Inoue, at that time chairman of the tournament and also chairman of the board of Daikin Industries, which has two bases in Czechia. Thus, another new exchange linking Czechia and Okinawa was born.

Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Naha, Mr. Hidenobu Inamine, personally attended on behalf of Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan this year's ceremony of the tournament and presented the Czech hand-cut crystal Ambassador's Cup to the winner of the tournament Ms. Shuri SAKUMA. It was the fourth time in a row that the Ambassador's Cup of the Czech Republic was presented at this tournament.
