On January 19, 2025, the Emperor's Cup award ceremony for the 30th Inter Prefectural Men's Ekiden Hiroshima Marathon was held with the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture, Mr. Hidehiko Yuzaki, and other guests.

This year's award ceremony was attended by Mrs. Vladimíra Hirsh, Deputy Head of Mission, who presented the Czech Crystal Cup to the winning team from Nagano Prefecture.

The Ambassador's Cup awarding ceremony at the Inter Prefectural Men's Ekiden Hiroshima is an annual part of the cooperation with Hiroshima Prefecture and has become an integral part of Czech sports diplomacy in Japan. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo is happy to continue the tradition.
