
President of the Czech Police, Maj.Gen. Tomáš Tuhý, visited Japan

A delegation of the Police Presidium of the Police of the Czech Republic led by Police President , Maj.Gen. Tomáš Tuhý, visited Japan from April 24 to April 28, 2017.
The delegation was received by the Commisioner General of the National Police Agency, Mr. Masyoshi Sakaguchi. Possibilites of the future cooperation of both police bodies were discussed. The delegation was also received by the Director of the International Department of the NPA, Mr. Iwao Koyama who explained the organizational structure and functioning of the Police of Japan. The delegation also got acquainted with the operational activities of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police during the visit of its Command and Control Headquarters where it was received by its head, Mr. Yoshiyaki Fujima. The delgation also visited headquarters of the NEC corporation where it was demonstrated a sophisticated face recognition technology.
