Memorandum of Understanding beteween the Czech agency TAČR and the Japanese agency NEDO was signed in the premises of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo on June 17, 2016.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Technological agency of the Czech Republic (TACR) and the New Energy Industrial Development Organisation, signed by Mr. Petr Očko, President of the TACR, and Mr.  Kazuo Furukawa, Chairman of the NEDO, will pave the way for laying foundations for future cooperation of both agencies in the the domain of research and science.

 The small ceremonial accompanying the signing of the document and  the lunch given on this occasion in the premises of the Czech Embassy in Tokyo by Mr. Tomáš Dub, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan, were a result of several years of contacts of the two agencies and a confirmation of their willingness to seek ways how to interconnect research and development institutes in the two countries and create conditions for their successful and effective cooperation.
