Ambassador's business trip to Ehime and Niigata prefectures

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan, Mr. Martin Klučar, made a business trip to Ehime and Niigata prefectures on November 9 and 10, 2023

On November 9, the Ambassador visited the city of Matsuyama in Ehime Prefecture, where, after a tour of the city, he met and held talks with the vice governor of the prefecture, Mr. Kaname Hamasato. Among other things, during the meeting they discussed the possibilities of cooperation and exchanges in various areas.

After the meeting at the prefectural office, the Ambassador continued with a visit to the Ehime Prefectural Matsuyama Higashi High School in Matsuyama, where he gave a lecture on the European Union and the Czech Republic to more than 360 pupils. The lecture was held as part of the "EU comes to your school" project, when EU member state missions in Japan are actively involved in education about the functioning of the European Union for the Japanese public. We thank the school management and pupils for the warm welcome and their interest.
