Joint concert of the choir of the University of Economics in Prague and the choir of the University of Arts in Tirana on the occasion of International Students' Day and 17 November

On November 17, 2025, the Czech and Slovak embassies in Tirana, in cooperation with the University of Arts in Tirana, organized a concert by the "Musica Oeconomica Pragensis" choir of the Prague University of Economics with the support of the University of Arts choir, followed by a reception on the anniversary of the Czechoslovak "Velvet Revolution" of 1989 and International Students' Day.

The program in the fully packed concert hall of the University of the Arts included the student anthem Gaudeamus igitur, Ola Gjeilo: Ubi caritas, Mark Hayes: lleluia, piano intermezzo waltz 5 in B flat major and Humoresque No. 7 by Antonín Dvořák, Milto Vako: Erdhi Prilli u shkri bora, Janina, Bie Lodra, Çesk Zadeja: Moj Syzeza, Aulon Naçi: The Joy i. Loving and a selection of Czech, Moravian, Wallachian and Slovak folk songs. At the end of a pleasant concert, both choirs met on stage to interpret the Albanian folk song Moj e bukura more.
