Czech Language Summer Courses 2026

In 2026 Czechia offers two Czech language scholarships in the framework of Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies.

Albanian students (over 18 years old) or teachers studying Czech language as well as open for all of those interested in Czech language, literature, history and culture are invited to participate. Courses are designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

One scholarship is provided by the Charles University in  Prague (16 July – 13 August 2026) and the second one by the Masaryk University in Brno - Masaryk University, (18 July – 15 August 2026). The receiving Czech institutions cover enrolment and tuition fees, accommodation, meals and excursions.

The application forms with the requested documentation need to be submitted to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana by March 13, 2026.

Self-funded participation in the Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies is also an option. In this case the venues extend to the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Palacký University in Olomouc and the Institute of Language and Preparatory Studies in Poděbrady (educational centre at Charles University in Prague).

As part of their educational blocks, the individual organizing schools offer Czech language courses at various levels of proficiency, selective seminars focused on Czech literature, culture and history, leisure activities including theater, music and dance performances, excursions, sightseeing trips, etc.
