Supermarket Art Fair 2026 & Altán Klamovka Gallery

Date: 23 April 2026 - 26 April 2025, Venue: Skärholmen Centrum, Skärholmsplan 5, 127 48 Skärholmen (Stockholm)

SUPERMARKET – Stockholm Independent Art Fair returns as a space built by artists, for artists. Across exhibitions, talks and performances, the fair brings together projects from all over the world and turns Stockholm into a meeting point for independent art scenes. This year, Altán Klamovka returns to Skärholmen, representing the Czech Republic. Based in a neo-Gothic pavilion in Prague, the gallery works with both its interior and the surrounding park – that way context becomes part of the work.

About the Fair

Supermarket is an annual international art fair for artist-run galleries and other artists’ initiatives. The art fair was founded and has been arranged by artists. The goal of Supermarket is to exhibit artist-run initiatives from all over the world, create opportunities for new networks and make the artist-run scene accessible to a range of audiences. Supermarket is an art fair that offers the visitor an experience instead of focusing on sales.

Altán Klamovka Gallery

Altán Klamovka (est. 2004) is a not-for-profit gallery focused on international collaboration and projects in drawing, site-specific art, performance and new media. For SUPERMARKET 2026, the gallery presents Extended Presence, curated by Lenka Sýkorová, featuring works by Ismael de Anda III (US/MX), Eugene Ahn (US/KR), Laze Tripkov (MK) and Michal Poustka (CZ).
The exhibition examines the shifting boundaries between physical and virtual existence. Through installation, performance and digital processes, the artists construct environments in which memory, gesture and code are brought into relation. The works invite viewers to move between observation and participation, reflecting on how presence is produced and experienced across material and mediated spaces.
