Supermarket Art Fair is an art fair that originated in 2007 and focuses on initiatives operated by artists themselves, characterized by non-institutional ways of organization. The main goal of the festival is to bring unique projects created by independent artists closer to a broad audience and to create opportunities for dialogue. Through exhibitions, discussions, and thematic meetings, it presents contemporary independent art, which is often hidden from the public eye.

The Czech Republic was represented at the Supermarket Art Fair by a quartet of galleries, which brought their artists to Stockholm to showcase their work: Altán Klamovka Gallery, City Surfer Office, Luxfer Open Space, and Pragovka Gallery.

That year's festival edition was subtitled Dream On. It awakened both the dreamer and the skeptic within attendees and let them converse. They dreamed of their castles and then tore them down.
