The exhibition will present the students’ works made of natural materials such as willow wicker, burdock, reed stalks, wool, and flax. Participants can also get acquainted with these materials during the workshops. The overarching theme of the exhibition is weaving/knitting with natural materials.

In connection with the exhibition, two workshops will take place on Friday, October 6 in two time blocks, 10:00 - 13:00 and 13:00 - 16:00. Participants will be introduced to a variety of woven techniques and materials such as willow, reed stalks, coarse wool and linen. In each time block, both workshops will be held at the same time.

The first of the workshops will mainly be about the technique of weaving with natural materials - willow or dogwood of students from UMPRUM under the guidance of prof. Jitka Škopová and Anna Fiala Leschinger. The second workshop focuses on weaving with natural materials - wool and linen, and will take place under the guidance of artist Matilda Dominique.
