Ambassador Jiří Šitler presented activities and challenges of the Embassy in political, economic and cultural cooperation with Sweden and also introduced planed commemorative events to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic and the 50th anniversary of the invasion of Warsaw Pact states in Czechoslovakia scheduled for 2018. Ambassador Jiří Šitler also informed the countrymen about the forthcoming elections to the Chamber of Deputies on October 20-21, 2017 and about the election of the President at the beginning of 2018.
