The screening was followed by a discussion with the film´s executive producer Alfred  Deutsch and the Czech Ambassador Jiří Šitler (Ambassador to Burma 2001-2006), and a glass of Moravian wine. The event was attended by more than 50 guests from the diplomatic corps, Swedish organizations and government institutions.

Twilight Over Burma is based on the true story of the Austrian student who falls in love with a young mining student from Burma. Later, she discovers his true identity: He is the ruling prince of a Shan state of Burma. A new, exotic life turns into a nightmare when the military takes over. The film was banned from public screenings in Burma/Myanmar because it could allegedly damage the army's image and national reconciliation.
