Designer Janja Prokić presented her latest jewellery collection ABRAKADABRA on vernissage in the Czech centre on March 9. Czech ambassador Jiří Šitler was among the guests.
The exhibition in the Czech Centre is open until March 13 and is part of Smyckeskonst 2016 project, involving almost 20 design and art institutions in Stockholm. Among the guests were journalists, representatives of the Czech community in Sweden and embassy staff.
Janja Prokić is born in Serbia but lives in Prague since 1993. Her newest collection is inspired by fight between black and white magic. The collection consists of six elements that are a must for every witch: magic wands, crystal ball, incense vessels for white sage, vials of potions, jewellery including rings, bracelets and necklaces, and finally Janja’s own strand of hair.
