Covid-19: Current information on the entry from the Czech Republic to Bahrain

We warn all travelers that the only competent authorities to provide information on entry into Bahrain are the Bahraini authorities, not least in view of the often changes of conditions of entry depending on the pandemic situation in the country.

The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain recognizes a vaccination certificate for countries whose citizens can obtain a visa upon arrival in the Kingdom. The Czech Republic is on the list of these countries. The following therefore applies:

Czech citizens are allowed to enter Bahrain if:

- they are holders of a valid electronic visa: https://www.evisa.gov.bh/
- they are holders of a valid residence permit (iqama)
- they will receive a visa upon arrival

To enter the Kingdom of Bahrain, the following applies to travelers:

 

For vaccinated passengers aged 6 and over:

- As of 20.2.2022 it is not required to perform a PCR upon arrival
- No quarantine required

For unvaccinated passengers:

- As of 20.2.2022 it is not required to perform a PCR upon arrival
- As of 20.2.2022 no quarantine required

For passengers who recovered from COVID (from 6 years of age)

Suffering from covid-19 can be demonstrated by:

- a certificate of illness

- PCR test with a positive result more than 14 days but less than 30 days before arrival in Bahrain

 

Children

Children under 6 years of age are not subject to the PCR test before or after arrival.

 

All travelers must download the application BeAware Bahrain https://apps.bahrain.bh/ before arrival.
