A press conference took place at the embassy’s premises at 16:00 and was followed by the presentation of the novel in the SPIIKIIZI café with participation of the writer Bianca Bellová. The Ambassador Miroslav Kosek attended the event, members of the Latvian-Czech society and the Latvian public.  The translator of the book Halina Lapiņa read the passage from the novel both in Czech and Latvian languages.  The novel "Lake" is the fourth book of a writer, which has received the European Union Literature Prize 2017 and the Magnesia Prize for Literature.
