
Meeting with the Delegation of the Mandate and Immunity Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Latvia Miroslav Kosek welcomed the delegation of Mandate and Immunity Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Zdeněk Besta, Mr. Miloš Malý, Jaroslav Palas and the Secretary Ms. Dana Šedivá at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riga on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
The senators met the chairman of the Latvian Mandate, Ethics and Submissions Committee Vitalijs Orlovs and the chairman of the Latvian Group for Interparliamentary Relations with the Czech Republic Sergejs Dolgopolovs in Saeima (Latvian Parliament) at that same day.
On Wednesday, September 14, a meeting was held with the the Director of the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) Mr. Jaroslavs Streļčenoks.
The delegation again met the members of the Latvian Group for Interparliamentary Relations with the Czech Republic during the diner in the evening.
Czech Republic's relations with Latvia have long been based on mutual trust and cooperation. Exchange of experience on the field of the agenda of the two committees and with the Latvian Group for Interparliamentary Relations with the Czech Republic throughout the visit and was beneficial to both sides.
