Ambassador Milena Vicenová takes part in meetings and other programme of the President of the European Council in Prague.
President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy visited the Czech Republic on Wednesday 23 February 2011 as part of his consultations with EU Member States. In meetings with Prime Minister Petr Nečas and President Václav Klaus, he discussed, among other topics, the Union’s economic strategy in the context of the preparation of the March summit of heads of state and government, and also the situation in North Africa.
The Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the EU, Ambassador Milena Vicenová, took part in the meetings and other programme of the President of the European Council in the Czech capital.
The President of the European Council visited the Czech Republic for the first time in January 2010.
