V4 group political directors held political consultations in Ramallah

Political directors from Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovak Republic held political consultations at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Palestine on June 6, 2017 in Ramallah. The Czech Republic was represented by Mrs. Kateřina Sequensová, Director of Common Foreign and Security Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Representatives of V4 group countries took part at the political consultation with the delegation of Palestinian Foreign Ministry headed by Ambassador Amal Jadou, Director General/Minister’s Advisor for Europe. They also met member of Fatah Central Committee Mr. Muhammad Ishtayyeh and Mr. Nabeel Shaath, Advisor of the Palestinian President (former Foreign Minister and Peace Negotiator). Representatives of V4 countries and Palestine discussed internal Palestinian situation and regional development, development of bilateral relationship between V4 countries and Palestine and perspectives of resumption of Middle East Peace Process (MEPP).

Mrs. Kateřina Sequensová was accompanied by Mr. Petr Starý, Representative of the Czech Republic in Ramallah and Mr. Tomáš Lipták (CFSP Department, Czech MFA) at the meetings.
