The closing ceremony was held in the presence of Head of the Representative Office of the Czech Republic in Ramallah, Mr. Jakub Šlosárek, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta, Ms. Michele Bowe, Hospital's Director, Mr. Gilles Normand, and the Czech Honorary Consul in Bethlehem, Mr. Samir Hazboun. As a part of the project, Czechia funded the purchase of key medical devices: delivery beds, neonatal incubators or sterilizers.

The Holy Family Hospital is a leading maternity hospital in the West Bank offering its services to Palestinians living well beyond Bethlehem Governorate, and is renowned for its neonatal intensive care unit. The facility annually takes care of more than 400 premature babies.
