Czech Republic Showcases Aerospace Excellence at International Innovation Forum in Montréal

Aerospace is one of the strongest and most innovative pillars of the Czech economy and its strength was on full display at this year’s International Aerospace Innovation Forum in Montréal.
The Czech Delegation, led by Director General Zdeněk Jelínek from Ministerstvo dopravy ČR , showcased Czech Republic’s excellence in aerospace innovation and advanced technologies.
The delegation included the Czech Aerospace Cluster, representing more than 60 Czech aerospace companies and universities, alongside innovative companies such as:
- UptimAI – AI optimization for engineering and industrial processes
- Radalytica – robotics-based non-destructive testing
- Anacot – advanced engineering, energy solutions, and innovative technologies
- PBS – a world leader in aircraft engines and cryogenic technology
The project was organized by Czech Embassy in Ottawa in cooperation with CzechInvest – Your Business Gateway to Czechia Toronto office, reinforcing a commitment to support Czech companies in the Canadian market.
The Czech national booth was opened by H.E. Martin Tlapa , the Czech Ambassador to Canada, together with Christopher Skeete , Québec’s Minister for International Relations and La Francophonie. Their discussions highlighted growing opportunities for cooperation between the Czech Republic, Canada and Québec in the aerospace sector.

Throughout the forum, delegates held meetings with Canadian and other international aerospace companies, suppliers, and system integrators. On the sidelines of the event, the Ministry of Transportation of the Czech Republic held strategic discussions with the Canadian ICAO delegation on current global aerospace challenges, as well as with Transport Canada representatives on opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation.
Aerospace remains one of the most dynamic and innovative sectors of the global economy and a key contributor to both Czech and Canadian prosperity. In today’s turbulent times, forums like this create new pathways for collaboration, innovation, and growth in aerospace and space technologies.
