On 15th of September 2022, the university auditorium in Oslo was filled with the tones of the symphonic poem My Country. The well known peace composed  by Bedřich Smetana was performed by the Norwegian Radio Orchestra under the baton of the Czech conductor Petr Popelka.

A few weeks later, on October 5th, 2022 the auditorium in Reykjavik got the similar opportunity to meet the Czech classical music. Excellent Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek enchanted the audience with a selection of piano pieces by B. Smetana, J. Dvořák, L. Janáček and B. Martinů. A musical recital entitled „Music from the Heart of Europe“ took place in the prestigious premises of the HARPA Concert and Conference Centre in Rykjavik.

In both cases, the concerts were held in the presence of the Czech ambassador in Oslo, the diplomatic corps, special guests and the local audience.
