New Czech Military attaché Brigadier General Libor Štefánik accredited to Norway

Military attaché Brigadier General Libor Štefánik, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Jaroslav Knot, made his first official visit to the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence March 29 – 30, 2017. This act officially concluded the process of Brigadier General Libor Štefánik´s accreditation as the new military attaché of the Czech Republic to Norway, based in Stockholm.

Brigadier General  L. Štefánik was personally welcomed by the Chief of Defence Staff Norway, Lieutenant General Erik Gustavson. During the visit were highlighted the traditionally friendly relations between the two NATO member countries, and both parties affirmed their interest in further security and defence cooperation. Afterwards, the new Czech Military attaché met other high-ranking officials of the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence and attended also the Ministry’s regular briefing for military diplomats.
