For the first time in Norway - the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the elite of Czech Rock musicians are meeting for an extraordinary show in the Oslo Konserthuset on May 11, 2019! The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra will present „Rock the Opera“ with the greatest hits from Pink Floyd, Queen, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC & U2.
The symphonic rock specialist, conductor Friedemann Riehle will bring the biggest milestones in the Rock history with the greatest arrangements. He already played this concert twice in the Vienna State Opera and numerous other prominent venues between Iceland and Turkey. The greatest strength of the „Rock the Opera“ is the power and atmosphere of the original songs combined with the spectacular sound of philharmonic orchestra. This groundbreaking interpretation of your favourite Rock hits surprises Rock fans time after time. The two seemingly incompatible worlds or classic and Rock music will be connected by the wonderful soloists Marketa Poulickova and Sabina Olijve (Czech Republic), Leanne Jarvis (UK), one of the best Czech Rock drummers Frantisek Hönig and other most skilled musicians from both the Rock and classical worlds.
