Auction of the Štiřín Chateau

The Embassy of the Czech Republic has the honor to present you with offer from the Czech Office for Government Representation in Property Affairs (UZSVM) of the sale of the Štiřín Castle in an electronic auction. The auction will be held from September 11th 2024 until September 13th 2024.

The 18th–century Baroque chateau, which is located only 25 km from Prague, is being offered including extensive grounds. The chateau was built in the Baroque style at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries and has undergone several modifications since then. It acquired its present appearance around 1900 after modifications designed by architect Jiří Stibral.

The chateau complex offers accommodation in 64 hotel rooms, divided into five buildings, also including two restaurants, a wine bar, a dining room, several social halls (for congresses or cultural events), facilities for sports and relaxation services and a chapel. The complex is currently not in use.

The electronic auction will start on September 11th 2024 at 12.00 and will end on September 13th 2024 at 12.00.

The starting price has been set at 3 300 000 000 CZK, with minimum incresment of bids by 100 000 CZK.

Bidders must pay a mandatory deposit of 30 000 000 CZK before midnight of September 10th 2024.

Public viewings are planned on following dates:

  • June 18th at 1 p.m.
  • July 12th at 10 a.m.
  • August 14th at 10 a.m.
  • September 4th at 1 p.m.
