In cooperation with the CzechTrade agency in India, a stand was organized, where Czech companies were presented in the field of energy savings, air pollution control, technological solutions, sanitation, water treatment and purification and cleaning aerosols for industrial use. Representatives of Enika.CZ s.r.o., whose presentation of energy saving systems in buildings met with great interest, and BAC Asia, which attracted visitors with their environmentally friendly cleaning agents, were also present. Several other companies participated with the help of printed publications, posters and brochures.

Embassy staff and CzechTrade representatives in Mumbai and Bengaluru received great response and inquisitive feedback from visitors as well as from participating Czech exhibitors like BAC Asia, Enika.cz, Hutira CCW, Bonatrans, Economy Energy Khiits, Watersavers and Energomonitor.

Speaking on the occasion, Czech Ambassador to India Milan Hovorka said: "The Czech Republic is ideally positioned to become an increasingly promising partner for India in transforming its Smart City Vision into reality. Technologies and solutions it can offer in areas like affordable housing, building efficiency, green mobility, smart grids, sanitation, health and safety and other sectors perfectly fit the objective of creating state of the art urban spaces in India."

Indian partners have shown a great deal of interest in Czech products from the field of water management, technical administration of buildings or environmentally friendly transport, which traditionally belong to the most competitive products on common European market. In order to meet their Indian counterparts, companies did not hesitate to fly from the Czech Republic or Singapore and were rewarded by establishing many valuable contacts.
