Europe’s largest annual human rights conference has taken place in Warsaw from 11 to 22 September 2017. HDIM is organized by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

The OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) is Europe's largest annual human rights and democracy conference. It is organized every year by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) as a platform for 57 OSCE participating States, Partners for Co-operation, OSCE structures, civil society, international organizations and other relevant actors to take stock of the implementation of the OSCE human dimension commitments, discuss associated challenges, share good practices and make recommendations for further improvement.

Around 1600 participants, including government representatives, civil society representatives, international experts and human rights activists from the OSCE's 57 participating States and partner countries, have gathered in Warsaw to review the implementation of the commitments adopted by their governments in the field of human rights and democracy. Besides every year topics such as democratic institutions, human rights and fundamental freedoms, tolerance and non-discrimination, and humanitarian issues, the main program for this year included also panels on rule of law, or economic, social and cultural rights as an answer to rising inequalities.

On the margins of the meeting, there were almost 90 side events focusing on specific human rights concerns and country situations.
