Czechia joined Donors to the IAEA ReNuAL2 Project, Ambassador Šrámek Unveiled Czechia’s plaque at the Donor Display at Vienna International Center

On 5 March 2024 Ambassador Ivo Šrámek, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, OSCE and other International Organizations in Vienna attended a ReNuAL2 side event hosted by the IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi on the margins of the March 2024 IAEA Board of Governors meeting in Vienna.
 

At this festive occasion Czechia was acknowledged as a first-time donor to the ReNuAL2 project and Ambassador Šrámek unveiled Czechia’s plaque at the Donor Display at Vienna International Center. The ReNuAL2 Donor Display is accessible to all visitors of the Vienna International Center.

ReNuAL2 project supports the modernization of the IAEA nuclear laboratories in Seibersdorf, Austria. The laboratories help IAEA Member States address a range of existing and emerging global climate change and development challenges, including in the area of human health, environmental management, food and agriculture. Czechia has recently joined the donors to the ReNuAL2 project of the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency.
