Appointments of OSCE senior officials

New OSCE Secretary General, ODIHR Director, High Commissioner on National Minorities and Representative on Freedom of the Media have been appointed.
The OSCE Ministerial Council adopted on July 18 by consensus the decisions to appoint the following senior-level officials:
- Thomas Greminger (Switzerland) as OSCE Secretary General,
- Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir (Iceland) as Director, OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights,
- Lamberto Zannier (Italy) as OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities,
- Harlem Désir (France), as OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media.
