Ambassador Šrámek participated in a ceremony for the 7 October Israeli abductees

On 2 November Ambassador Ivo Šrámek, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, OSCE and other International Organizations in Vienna participated in a ceremony at the UN Plaza which remembered the fate of the 240 Israelis, who were abducted by the Hamas terrorists to Gaza on 7 October.
 

The ceremony event was organized by the Embassy of the State of Israel in Vienna and the Permanent Mission of Israel to the UN, OSCE and International Organizations in Vienna. Vienna-based Ambassadors and Permanent representatives who attended the event heard heartbreaking testimonies from Eli Albag, Alexandra Ariev and Tal Yeshurun, whose loved ones had been abducted by Hamas terrorists to Gaza on 7 October. During a prayer for all 240 abductees to Gaza and the 1400 Israeli civilian victims who were slaughtered in the 7 October terrorist attack by Hamas, the Chief Cantor of IKG Vienna remembered the fate of all victims and called on international community to demand the safe return of all citizens who had been taken hostage by the terrorist group Hamas.
