Czech humanitarian aid to Ethiopia

While speaking at the High-level Pledging Event for the Humanitarian Situation in Ethiopia, Deputy Foreign Minister Eduard Hulicius pledged €8,6 in aid for humanitarian and stabilization efforts and resilience building.
Ethiopia remains one of the priority countries for the Czech foreign development cooperation, with a particular focus on sustainable use of water and other natural resources and climate-smart agriculture and rural development.
Despite all efforts, Ethiopia continues to face an alarming humanitarian situation due to natural disasters and armed conflict. The High-level Pledging Event was held on 16 April. It was co-organized by Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, and the United Nations.
