The release of aid plans for Ukraine, co-organized by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), took place on 15^th February 2023.

The Ambassador recalled that his country pays for the largest host of Ukrainian refugees in terms of population, while in absolute numbers it is almost half a million people, i.e., approximately 5% of the Czech population. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 60 million euro have been allocated for humanitarian and stabilization efforts. Scholarships, shelter, medical supplies, energy sources and much more have been provided.
