A total of €3 million from the Aid in Place programme will go towards medical needs in Mauritania and Rwanda and assistance for returnees to Afghanistan from Pakistan. The Aid in Place allocates financial donations abroad for assistance to refugees in the place of their first displacement, to internally displaced persons and to returnees coming back to their country of origin.
