On Thursday 5 November, the third year of the symposium 'The Price of War: Hot, Cold, Digital: the Three Theatres of War”' took place in London.
The main aim of the conference was to provide a perspective on global conflicts and tensions as well as the so-called “three theatres of war” currently existing. The topics discussed included Russian aggression in Ukraine, current conflicts in the Middle East, the US Presidential Election results and US-China relations.
Ambassador Marie Chatardová opened the ceremony with a speech highlighting the importance of global cooperation. As in previous years, the symposium featured a wide range of excellent speakers, including Martin Wolf of the Financial Times, James Frankopan of Oxford University, Jan Švejnar of Columbia University or former CIA Director General David Patreaus.
The symposium was organised by the CERGE-EI Foundation and CERGE-EI, with partners including the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London, the Czech Centre London and several leading think tanks.
