
State Reception on the occasion of the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovak State

On Tuesday, 8 October 2024, a state reception was held at the Embassy of the Czech Republicin London, hosted by Ambassador Marie Chatardová on the occasion of the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak State, attended by about 300 guests.
In her opening speech, the Ambassador summarised the main events of the past year within the Czech-British relations in the political, commercial, cultural, sporting and security spheres, academic, science and research. The United Kingdom is undoubtedly one of our closest allies.
The reception was accompanied by live music performed by bassist Marek Bero. Only Czech cuisine was served, including Budweiser Budvar. In front of the Embassy, guests had the opportunity to see not only the Škoda Enyaq car, but also the historic Škoda 422 model.
