Memorial ceremony in Brookwood on 5 May 2019

On Sunday 5 May 2019 at 1:15pm, The Memorial Association for Free Czechoslovak Veterans, along with Defence Attachés of the Embassies of the Czech and Slovak Republics, organise on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the end of the Second World War a commemorative ceremony in the Brookwood Military Cemetery.
The memorial act will be traditionally held at the Czechoslovak Memorial where Czech and Slovak airmen and soldiers who were stationed in Britain during WW2 are buried.
The memorial is regularly attended by war veterans, their relatives, friends, representatives from the Embassies and all those who wish to pay tribute to the heroes who put their lives at risk for the freedom of Czechoslovakia and whole Europe.
