Foreign ministers of the Czech Republic and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will discuss deepening bilateral Cooperation at the Czernin Palace

On Friday, 18 September 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Petr Macinka, will meet in Prague with his counterpart, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi arriving to the Czech Republic as as a member of the accompanying delegation of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan.
The two ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the Czech Republic and Jordan.
The ministers will also discuss specific foreign and security policy issues, particularly the current situation in the Middle East region. In addition, they will explore opportunities for further bilateral cooperation in the fields of cybersecurity, defense and security, as well as in other priority sectors on which the Czech Republic focuses in Jordan, including healthcare, agriculture and energy.
