Ambassador Žantovský at the Royal Air Force Museum

The Roal Air Force Museum in London opens a new major exhibition about the Polish and Czech participation in the Battle of Britain. The exhibition will help to promote the campaign to build the landmark Battle of Britain Beacon building at the Museum´s London site.
Ambassador Michael Žantovský joins the Guests of Honour at the Royal Air Force Museum in Lonodn on the occasion of the Official Opening of a major new exhibition which is a tribute to the significant part the Polish and Czech pilots played in the Battle of Britain in 1940.
On the 27th September 2010 an exhibition about the Polish and Czech participation in the Battle of Britain was launched at the European Parliament by its President Mr Jerzy Buzek, coinciding with the 70th Anniversary of the Battle. The exhibition was put together by the Polish Inistitute of National Rememberance, the Warsaw Uprising Museum and the Czech Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes together with teh Royal Air Force Museum.
