As part of the opening programme, Czech co-exhibitors were officially welcomed, and the exhibition was ceremonially opened by the Director of CzechTourism, František Reismüller, together with the Director of CzechTourism’s London office, Katarína Hobbs. On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed his support for Czech representatives in the tourism sector and acknowledged their efforts and achievements on the international stage.

The Czech exhibition showcased a wide range of regional tourist attractions, services, and innovations. The WTM fair is one of the world’s most significant events in the travel and tourism industry, offering a unique opportunity to establish connections with professionals, partners, and media from around the globe.

“Participation of the Czech Republic in the WTM fair is an important step in strengthening its position as an attractive tourist destination. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in London fully supports the activities of CzechTourism and Czech regions in their efforts to reach both British and international audiences,” the Ambassador stated.
