Call for applications for the Summer School of Slavic Studies in 2025

Summer Schools of Slavic Studies (SSSS) are study courses organized by several public universities in the Czech Republic. The courses are held annually during July and August. Their duration varies from 3 to 4 weeks. The courses are intended for international students, professionals (teachers, translators, interpreters) and academics in the field of Bohemian and Slavic Studies who are over 18 years of age. However, they are also open to all those interested in Czech language, literature, history and culture.

Those interested in the 2025 Summer School of Slavic Studies can apply for scholarships through the Embassy. Applications must be received by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana no later than 25 March 2025.

There are 6 places available for Slovenian candidates for the coming year, namely 4 places at Masaryk University in Brno, 1 place at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and 1 place at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

The completed application form with all required attachments must be delivered to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana no later than 25 March 2025.
