Václav Šťastný, the Czech leading vexillology expert, lectured on the 22^nd of January 2014 for the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA on the use of flags and banners in the state administration and Foreign Service. His lecture attracted more than 40 civil servants and university students. The participants learnt about the rules of raising flags on state buildings and private institutions, the positioning of flags during official occasions such as press conferences or international state visits and flag positioning on the vehicles of state authorities.
